Linda Bureman

I was a military brat from 1942 when I was born until I married in 1962.  I lived in Okinawa, Japan, Germany, and many US cities including IL, Wy, MO, Ohio, TX, Maryland. and CA.  I worked as a Community Organizer, Factory worker (once), and Teacher after I completed my teaching BA, MA, and Specialist in Reading/language arts in both public middle schools and high schools.

I am now a writer, a grandmother, and a retired teacher.  I am on my neighborhood board and have varied interests.  I have written some about my experiences as a army brat and traveling around the world with my Dad, whose name was Col. Dallas C. Jaekels prior to his death.
