Vann Baker

Vann Baker grew up in an Army family, during the 1960s and 1970s. He lived on U.S. bases in El Paso, Texas, Fort Knox, Kentucky and lived overseas in Mannheim, Florstadt and Bad Nauheim, Germany. Vann is the creator of Military Brats Online, an interactive community, and is also the creator and editor of Military Brat Life. Vann lives in Duluth, Georgia with his wife Fia, and has seven adopted dogs from various rescue organizations, and a cat.

It's hard to imagine giving up precious summer mornings to sit in a classroom and learn to use a typewriter, but many of us did suffer through "aaa", "fff", "ggg" and more as we took our typing "basic training."
